Gimbal Shockwave

 

VR Shockwave Gimbal is a payload inertial compensation system that can be either installed on a drone or used as a Shockwave Handy VR system. It is designed to integrate a rotating landing gear with adjustable height and camber.

Particular attention was paid to minimize vibrations, reduce friction and achieve high rotation speeds in order to obtain the highest video quality.
The gimbal mounting plate allows you to install the cameras while numerous slots allow precise positioning to get the best field of view and the correct center of gravity.
All the parts that compose the VR Shockwave Gimbal are machine cut and made of carbon fiber.
The moving parts are mounted on high quality ball bearings and have been designed to ensure a correct balance, low weight and great structural rigidity.

Shockwave Handy

Based on the Shockwave Gimbal we developed a 3 axis hand held Steadylike Gimbal. This lightweight Steadycam can be loaded with cameras up to 3Kg. and is made out of high grade Ergal and 3k twill carbon fiber. The result is an incredibly light and stiff gimbal offering surprisingly smooth camera operation.
